Sourcing

We start every relationship with a farm visit. We meet the growers, walk the fields and read the certifications. We only sign with farms that practice regenerative or certified organic methods, and we commit to multi-season buying agreements that protect farmers from market volatility.

Packaging

Our boxes are made from 100% recycled corrugated kraft. Our cold packs use wool insulation from a Pennsylvania mill instead of styrofoam. Where we still use plastic, we choose food-grade PLA from corn — fully compostable in industrial facilities.

Shipping

We consolidate orders into regional hubs to cut last-mile emissions, and we partner with carriers that publish verified emissions data. Local Beaver County deliveries are run from our own electric van.

Fair pay

Our supplier code of conduct sets minimum prices above USDA reference rates and bans any form of forced or child labor across our supply chain. We audit annually and publish a summary report each January.

Food waste

Imperfect produce gets discounted, not discarded. Anything that doesn't sell within its window goes to local food banks through our partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
